I cannot pick a specific answer for this question. As much as I believe that humans are very strong-willed and want to tackle many problems, we cannot even tackle relations with different countries of humans. If we take the goal of humanity to be gathering knowledge and learning information, some of us will always be striving for and achieve that. Yet others still do not wish for or do not understand enough to want to make humanity better as a whole. I point out ISIS as one such example. What they try to achieve does not better humanity as a whole.
I lean toward 'yes' because the majority of us, I believe, wish to become better. We wish to learn more. Even if others still are not ready for this yet.
