Should the Internet be regulated by the government?

No. For a couple of reasons: 1) The internet moves too fast and changes too quickly for the Government to effectively regulate it. Attempts to do so would only serve to restrict one of the most innovative areas of technological advancement. 2) Assuming we mean the US Government would do the regulating, the Global nature of it would just force internet companies to move abroad and take good jobs with them.
