I'm hesitant to even give him 1/10 stars because that would imply that I at the very least consider him a politician. Donald Trump saying he's a politician is the billionaire-equivalent of a waitress saying she's an actor.

Isn't that "just" because you are simply used to him as being anything but a politician[1], though? I feel like I should mention the fact that Ronald Reagan was an actor[2] once (I don't have an opinion about this or his policies as I have no knowledge of them), although you probably realise this.
I think people have the right to change vocations within their lifetime when they feel up for it. Wealth or the lack thereof should not matter.
Trump is a strong personality and someone America needs to be great again. He has his antics, but he's a good man inside. I don't agree with all his views, but I think he would be great for our economy.
I can't understand his politics strategy. But my choose is Trump. I just can't see woman the president of USA.
The question (in this case) isn't how likeable he (or any politician) is or how (high) you would rate his political agenda, but how well his rhetorics support his views. Does he have a (realistic/(long-term)benefactory) vision? Does he have integrity or might he fall into (i.e. economic) corruption? Do you expect him to able to survive the political arena (for multiple years)? Is he experienced, well-connected? If not, do you expect him to be able to live up to former politicians you have a high opinion of?
