It's really neither good nor bad. Nigeria doesn't want us there, so the delegation that is there and the help that has been offered is more in the "neighborly" category. It's expected for us to offer to help and be ready if asked to proceed, but we all know that our help isn't going to be accepted.

Nigeria is a sovereign country. The US cannot help unless that government gives us permission to do so. No sovereign country wants US spooks operating on their soil, even for a known operation. Nigeria will not be asking us for help.

On the other end of any operation we could pull off, what would happen if we helped and the girls got killed!
