Think of the 3 air planes that crashed on 9-11-2001. Think really hard.

Which air plane did not make it to it's destination? Why? Why didn't this one plane not make it?

Yeah, it was becuase the passengers rose up and fought. The PEOPLE fought to keep the plane safe.

The law shouldn't ban or allow anything. Let the airlines decide what is allowed on their planes, then let the airlines do security accordingly.

Remember, every regulation (men with guns enforce the law) removes your liberty.

Back in the old days, I always traveled with my Swiss Army knife. It came in handy many times, especially the corkscrew and bottle opener! Its about time Homeland Security came to its senses regarding such items. The small blades cause little damage, and a pen can be honed to be a more dangerous weapon. Now, I'm sure I can put my nail clipper back into my carryon.

Another idiot bill from the idiot party.

How many terrorist attacks has the TSA prevented?

How much money has been spent to produce the above results?

So... per dollars spent for results achieved, how well is the taxpayer's money being spent in these Orwellian adventures?

Answer: Billions of dollars spent, no results, or, we're getting the same results as BEFORE we spent billions of dollars (and have inconvenienced millions of airline passengers for NO RESULTS).

Hence... if the results are the same considering that prior to the TSA and billions of dollars outlay when people carried knives onto planes and planes flew fine and people arrived at their destinations with little to no hassle, and the current results AFTER spending billions of dollars and hassling everyone, doesn't it make some sense (not a word connected to the federal government these days) to QUIT making sure airline travel gets more and restrictive? (or stays that way, depending on your view).
