He is signed to the American professional wrestling promotion item:109055[World Wrestling Entertainment], where he performs under the ring name [b]Kevin Owens[/b] and is the current WWE Intercontinental Champion in his first reign.
Prior to joining WWE in 2014, Steen wrestled under his birth name for Ring of Honor, where he held the ROH World Championship and ROH World Tag Team Championship. He also wrestled extensively on the independent circuit for 14 years, including stints in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, where he held the PWG World Championship and PWG World Tag Team Championship, and Combat Zone Wrestling, where he held the CZW Iron Man Championship. Prior to debuting on the main WWE roster in May 2015, Owens wrestled in WWE's developmental branch NXT, where he held the NXT Championship.
