The [b]Sega Nomad[/b] (also known as [b]Sega Genesis Nomad[/b]) is a handheld game console by item:109285[Sega] released in item:108650[North America] in October 1995. The Nomad is a portable variation of Sega's home console, the item:109281[Sega Genesis] (known as the Mega Drive outside of North America). Designed from the Mega Jet, a portable version of the home console designed for use on airline flights in item:108212[Japan], Nomad served to succeed the item:109468[Sega Game Gear] and was the last handheld console released by Sega.
