The BFG is an upcoming American fantasy adventure film directed by Steven Spielberg and written by Melissa Mathison, based on the novel of the same name by Roald Dahl. The film stars Ruby Barnhill, Mark Rylance and Bill Hader. Principal photography on the film began on March 23, 2015.
