Of course, the people themselves have some problems, but as I said above, they get an easy tool to kill, and it's quite hard to identify who shot someone with it, unlike a knife or else of that kind.

In country's where guns were illegal since quite some time, most crimes are committed without guns, and even if someone has a gun, most of the time they either don't know how to shoot or just can't shoot because of their mentality. Isn't that better than teaching a kid how to shoot with it? And - after all - if someone has a gun pointed at you, you can't get your own anyways because he'd shoot you.
