If we don't figure out how to leave earth when she'll be to close to the sun, maybe she'll last longer, but keep in mind nothing is eternal.

It is my understanding that the distance between Earth and the Sun is increasing rather than decreasing (by 15 cm or 1.5 cm a year).
I'm not panicking at all.
