Is global warming (climate change) a real threat to the environment?

i can confirm this.. in my city we have a drop of winter temperature from -15C to the -1C, with the new phenomenom called "freezing rain" inbound. From now there is a snowy weather only for a few weeks against 3 month in the past. No more skis all the winter season available ;-;
