I would join the Dark Side, for the jedi code as shown in the prequel trilogy is quite reminiscent of religious priesthood codes, forbidding natural emotions and trying to have an emotionless view of life, wich is a way of thinking that doesn't take natural human emotions in consideration and therefore is not valid.

This is the kind of argument a Sith would use on a Jedi in order to convert him. :P
Sure, the Sith do follow their emotions, but once they have fallen to the dark side, they also are prisoners of their emotions. They are constantly thrown from one emotion to another and they can never find peace. Their days are comprised of unstability and the only way they can relieve themselves from the anger and sadness they are subjected to is to plunge deeper into the dark side by being evil and gaining more power from the dark side. But it eventually comes back; the guilt, the jealousy, the doubt, etc.. Are you sure you want to live like this?
