Should children born in the U.S. to illegal immigrants be granted citizenship?

Absolutely. There is something immoral and un-American in punishing children for the sins of the parents. This concept that women (especially latino women) quickly become pregnant so that if they entered illegally, they can stay, is a false one. I also believe that the parent can only stay, if confronted, until the child reaches 18, then they can be deported. I doubt that has ever happened. Do you know that entering illegally the first time is only a misdomeanor, not a felony?
