Immigrants do jobs that no one else is willing to do. Especially Latinos. They work in extremely hot conditions to produce wine for Americans, they clean other people's houses because they are to lazy to do it themselves, etc. They do all the jobs that Americans are unwilling to do to support their families and get by. They are people just like the rest of us. Families will be separated if immigrants get deported and are not offered citizenship. That's pretty sad if you think of a wife that was born in the US and a husband that was born elsewhere and came in the US for a better life, met his now wife, and they have children and the husband gets deported.
It would be pretty said and it is. It doesn't change the fact that the husband entered the country illegally. The US does not have an immigration problem it has an illegal immigration problem. It is rather simple, if a person enters the country illegally that person should be deported. Only in the U.S.A. is this an issue. Most illegal immigrants of other countries who are found to have entered the country illegally are deported. I see no reason why the U.S.A. has an issue with the policy.
Redacted due to false information. Sorry! However, the Mexican law is strictly enforced.
This isn't even a little true.
Migratory Act of 2011: The punishment is a fine and/or deportation.
No one is forcing families to be separated. There's nothing preventing these people from moving to their home countries with their children. It's pathetic that the "think of the children!" canard is used for political issues like this.
Moreover, the US has extremely liberal immigration policies. Try entering a random European country illegally and see what happens to you. In Denmark, they force you to pay for your own deportation. Other countries have immigration policies that only allow educated and/or wealthy people in; this includes Canada, Australia, and most European nations. Britain has recently reworked their immigration system, modeling it on Canada's. Canada enjoys extremely high public support for immigration, but that's because all their immigrants are smart, educated, and frequently wealthy, rather than a class of people with no education and extremely high crime rates.
I think you feel like Americans will not clean your home if they had the chance. We don't nee illegals to become American Citizens at all. First we must close the boarder to cut off the constant supply of those sneaking into this country. Also you seem to be under the impression that Hispanic are the only one's here illegally that is far from the truth. If you are here holding a job then we could issue you a green card, but only after we have closed the boarder. You see many who sneak across the boarder are bad people they commit murder, robbery, rape, and then sneak back to there country. Two: those very same people get sick show up at the Hospital are treated and fail to ever pay the bill leaving you and I to pay higher medical bills. There are ways to deal with illegals because granting them Citizenship.
If the wife (or husband) is a legal American citizen then the illegal should be granted citizenship. If the significant other is illegal then any children they create should also remain illegal.
