No Man's Sky as an anticipated video game

The game looks beautiful... But... I'm afraid I might be missing having the random missions to give you a sense of accomplishment, and the option to team up with other players. I feel like the lack of the latter might be what makes the game boring quickly, and what eventually kills the game. It would be better to have a friend function that allows you to talk to your friends and light speed to them once every few hours, it would really liven up the gameplay.
