Free healthcare, rich history and culture, good food, relatively safe, don't need to worry about guns, money can be quite easy to come by especially compared to poorer countries and if you already have money it can go a long way. It's pretty comparable to America and countries like Germany and France in terms of strong economy and western ideology, however it isn't without it's problems. The politics in this country, while not extremist or typically oppressive, is cumbersome and politicians struggle to have normal conversations whilst generally opting just to shout and eachother/everybody. There are large class divides and the ladder can be hard to climb, some families staying poor for many generations while others stay rich for many more (looking at you, Windsors). With a little graft though, it isn't hard to get a job or make your own company, so essentially you reap what you sow here. The benefits system is in place to help those who struggle to make ends meet, due to personal issues such as family or health, and is rarely abused but often appreciated. England has an ageing population which is particularly noticeable outside the cities where houses are more common and more expensive. England does have a place for everybody though and despite it's problems, there aren't many better countries you could be living in.
