My Opinion of Steam
I find that steam is a very useful and extra secure way of purchasing games of which you would normally buy of, amazon, ebay, game, a friend etc etc and has many different friendly communities within different game catergories. The steam workshop also eliminates all of the 'faffing' around with files and lets you just pick which ones and depending on the size are ready to use normally in 10-20 seconds.
