Guide: Categories & tags

a

General info

Categories and tags are thematic sections that the topics can be linked to. There are a few differences between categories and tags.

There are currently 33 categories on OpiWiki. Users cannot add new categories, however, they can propose a new category to be added at meta.opi.wiki. Every category has its own statistics, navigation system, and user rankings. One and only one category must be linked to a topic.

Tags are being created live by OpiWiki users. A tag may refer to general subjects, for example: cRPG games, UK politics, human brain, or rock music. They may also refer to more specific subjects, e.g: 2016 U.S. presidential election, Norway sightseeing, The Beatles (band), or any event or thing.

Categories and tags are listed in the Categories section.
