MachineGames as a video game developer - discussion
MachineGames (corporate name MachineGames Sweden AB) is a Swedish video game developer based in Uppsala, Sweden. It was founded in 2009 by Fredrik Ljungdahl, Jerk Gustafsson, Jens Matthies, Jim Kjellin, Kjell Emanuelsson, Magnus Högdahl and Michael Wynne, who were all key members of Starbreeze Studios. All members previously worked on The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay (2004) and The Darkness (2007).
In November 2010, MachineGames was acquired by Bethesda Softworks's parent company ZeniMax Media. MachineGames developed Wolfenstein: The New Order (2014) using the id Tech 5 game engine. More: en.wikipedia.org.
