The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is an American late-night talk show hosted by Stephen Colbert on CBS. The show premiered on September 8, 2015, and is produced by Spartina Productions and CBS Television Studios. It airs weeknights at 11:35/10:35c. It is the second iteration of CBS's long-running Late Show franchise. The show also stars house band Stay Human, led by bandleader Jon Batiste. I liked Colbert where he was with what he was doing.

It seems really contrived now.
