I didn't expect anything special from this movie - I was expecting another trivial and usual action film. Anyway, I went to see it... and I was very positively surprised. Wasn't boring and made me laugh many times. The strength of this movie is not necessarily the action, but the abstract irony and humor. And of course great Samuel L. Jackson. Certainly there are some similarities to Bond, but forget 007, this movie kicks James's backside.
