It depends on his confidence. My longest relationship was with someone who was deemed 'unattractive' by some, and although I was (vaguely) aware of other men being more physically attractive to me, I found it especially challenging to conquer this person's lack of confidence towards life. I didn't even mind that much (since I had the same problem) but it made me worry about the relationship being unbalanced and energy-consuming.
