Terminator Genisys (a.k.a. Terminator 5) is an American science fiction action film directed by Alan Taylor and written by Laeta Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier. Set in the year 2029, it is the fifth installment in the Terminator series, and is said to "reset" the series, acting as a sequel, prequel, and reboot to the series. Arnold Schwarzenegger reprises his role as the titular character, along with newcomers Emilia Clarke, Jason Clarke, Jai Courtney, Matt Smith, Lee Byung-hun, Dayo Okeniyi, Courtney B.
