I'm a registered Republican, though I do wish that we didn't have political parties.
Why would I pretend, as an adult, to support a pack of whining bickering children who can't do the job they were "hired" to do?

While there are some worthwhile planks in each of the party's platforms, or there are while whomever is trying to be re-elected, the overall performance shown year after year by our elected officials is appallingly non-existent and will most likely remain that way as long as we continue to endorse the blather and hot air they consider relevant.
It is interesting that in a primary election you have to have an affiliation to vote and the vote is only for your affiliation. There is no reason to affiliate unless you are the politician. The affiliation desirable is for the general public and in specific the people you represent that voted you into office. Nowadays what you believe your political representative to be is many times swayed be outside influence.that opposes the platform we voted for. I will not buy something without seeing if it fits and feels good, so I will not give carte blanche. If there is a well defined cause i could contribute
