Justin Pierre James Trudeau (born December 25, 1971) is a Canadian politician who is the Leader of the Liberal Party.

Trudeau is the eldest son of Pierre Elliott Trudeau (1919-2000), Prime Minister of Canada (1968–79; 1980–84), and Margaret Trudeau. He was elected as the Member of Parliament for the riding of Papineau in 2008 and re-elected in 2011. He has served as the Liberal Party's critic for Youth and Multiculturalism, Citizenship and Immigration, and Post Secondary Education, Youth and Amateur Sport. On April 14, 2013, Trudeau was elected leader of the Liberal Party of Canada.

Trudeau was designated the next Prime Minister of Canada after leading his party in the October 19, 2015 federal election to a majority government victory. More: en.wikipedia.org.
