DuckDuckGo as a web search engine - discussion

DuckDuckGo (DDG) is a Internet search engine. DuckDuckGo distinguishes itself from other search engines by not profiling its users and by deliberately showing all users the same search results for a given search term. DuckDuckGo emphasizes getting information from the best sources rather than the most sources, generating its search results from key crowdsourced sites such as Wikipedia and from partnerships with other search engines like Yandex, Yahoo! Search, Bing, and Yummly.

The company is based in Paoli, Pennsylvania, United States, in Greater Philadelphia, and has 20 employees. The company name originates from the children's game duck, duck, goose. More: en.wikipedia.org.

A good search engine that, unlike Google, don't spy on you and has much clearer algorithms. Don't change your website's tags as much as Google, display the same pages (same order) for all users for a given search phrase. Google is an every SEO optimizer's nightmare. DuckDuckGo is obviously not as fast as Google (indexing-wise) and I don't like the image search page, but anyway I'm glad there are some brave people who fight Google. Good luck!
