Windows 7 as an operating system - discussion

Windows 7 is a personal computer operating system developed by Microsoft. It is a part of Microsoft Windows family of operating systems. Development of Windows 7 started as early as 2006 under the codename "Blackcomb." Windows 7 was released to manufacturing on July 22, 2009, and became generally available on October 22, 2009, less than three years after the release of its predecessor, Windows Vista. Windows 7's server counterpart, Windows Server 2008 R2, was released at the same time. More: en.wikipedia.org.

I don't know about Linux but this is definitely my favorite system of Windows. Clear, functional and easy to use. It's intuitive.

Second option after XP. But when this OS will become dead, I must go to bad OS's like W8 and W10 (with bad metro and flat design). After end of support W7, i will choose ubuntu.
