For example, should women be restricted from serving side by side in combat?

No. I'm retired Army and have worked with women soldiers. I have seen the ones that are useless and I have seen the hard workers (and can say the same thing about the guys). In Iraq I watched a timid young girl turn into a hard charging soldier ordering Iraq prisoners around better then many guys and without back-up. And for Mr Byrd the Army demands a lot more than 3 push-ups for women.

Women should not serve in the military. They are women! They're too emotional and they don't think and act like men. They're most likely to be targeted by various villains. Most of them are not as strong as men - most female U.S. Marines can’t do minimum standard three pull-ups... Women just don't belong in the military.

you completely under estimate the mental and physical abilities of many women.

Whoever said women are the weaker sex, never tried pulling the blankets back to their side! ;) Not all women are like that but man... There are many women out there who are tougher than any man I know.

Frankly, I think men with narrow minded thinking and tunnel vision should not be allowed to serve because that kind of rigid thinking is dangerous and can get his fellow soldiers killed when in complex situations when thinking outside the box is required.
